Emerging Africa Trustees Limited is a member of the Emerging Africa Group, licensed by Securities and Exchange Commission to provide trust services in Nigeria. Emerging Africa Trustees has grown into a leading Nigerian Trust Company which provides corporate and public trust services where it plays a key role in protecting the interest of investors in major financing transactions.
We operate solely as a Trust company, which avails us the benefit of focus and specialization and absence of conflicts with clients’ interests.
Leadership
The promoters of the Company possess cumulative experience spanning several decades in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Corporate Banking, Trusteeship, Investment Management, Investor Services and Capital Markets.
In addition, the Group has a dedicated team of seasoned professionals with cumulative local and international experience of over 100 years and industry insight across various sectors including oil & gas, power, financial services, manufacturing, telecommunications, real estate, information technology etc.

Public Trust & Corporate Bond
We provide trust services to issuers of debt securities (both Corporate issuers and Government). We represent, secure and protect Bondholders interests and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory provisions. Our involvement enhances the perceived security of transactions we are appointed on.

Debenture and Security Trust
EACT acts as an independent and impartial third party managing charged assets, monitoring compliance with covenants contained in the transaction instruments and bridging interest between Lenders and Borrowers. We have the fiduciary background, extensive experience and advanced operational processes to deliver expectations in this regard.

Collective Investment Schemes
We act as Trustee to Mutual Funds to protect the interest of the Unit Holders. We ensure the Fund Managers act in accordance with the transaction documents and funds are managed in the interests of the Unitholders.

Living Trusts and Management of Financial affairs of HNIs
This trust service is targeted at HNI individuals, families and corporates.
As Trustees to your living trust, we help in the process of trust formation and setup, annual maintenance and on-going trust support.

Testamentary Trusts
We can be appointed to act as Executor or Co-Executor to the Will/Estate. As executors, we can help in processing the grant of probate and Letters of Administration, and doing all acts until the Winding up of the Estate, as the case may be.
Family
Offices
For families with more complex multi-disciplinary financial challenges, we can assist in setting up a Family Trust to manage the family estate as a single entity, thus actively preserving wealth, organizing it to ensure continuity. The expression “Family Office” covers all forms of organizations and services involved in managing large private fortunes.
Foundations, NGOs and Charitable Trusts
We also facilitate the establishment of foundations and charitable trusts, and oversee the management and administration of Foundations/NGOs set up to fulfil Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR). We provide governance and administrative support to Foundations / Charitable Trusts set up to actualize CSR initiatives in a more effective and sustainable way.
Nominee and Custodial Services
We also provide Nominee services to corporations and institutions, and offer custodial services to Clients where we preserve and safely keep important documents, and other valued properties on our Client’s behalf as may be stated in the Custody Agreement to be prepared.

This is a savings account designed for adult of all ages who are looking to save towards achieving a specific goal. It could be for a car, home, furthering of education, purchase of landed property etc.

Emerging Stars Education Trust
This is a unique savings account designed specifically for Parents and Guardians to save towards the education of their children. This product enables you to set aside either a lump sum amount or periodic contributions over time to provide for and ensure the uninterrupted education of one’s children regardless of any change in circumstances i.e. job loss, retirement etc.

Staff Trust Scheme
This offers a simple and unique hybrid financial product which incorporates the elements of a Living Trust, to provide higher returns for each staff (as funds will be pooled together for better returns) as well as the opportunity for each staff to borrow against their savings (optional).

Gratuity Trust Scheme
This enable a company to set aside funds periodically with Emerging Africa Trustees which will manage the Funds efficiently and ensure that severance payments are made to employees at the end of their service due to resignation, retirement, redundancy or demise of qualified members of Staff. This could be set up as contributory or non-contributory.
