The website terms and condition policy is designed to protect Emerging Africa Capital Group’s website. It informs users and stakeholders about the Group’s terms of use in clear, simple and easily comprehensive language.

Objective of this policy

This policy will aim at helping Emerging Africa Capital Group ensure the following:
i. To stop abusive users such as theft of the Group’s content, reverse-engineering of the website and spamming of the users.
ii. Tell users of the fact and prevent them from misappropriating any of the Group’s content and also protect their own content.
iii. To limit the causes of actions the users of the website may attempt to use against the Group. i.e. the Group cannot be held liable for any loss sustained in the usage its website.

www.emergingafricagroup.com is a site operated by Emerging Africa Capital Limited (the Company” and its subsidiaries collectively (“Emerging Africa” or the “Group”).
Emerging Africa is registered under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as a private limited liability company and have its registered office at 25a Bourdillon rd, Ikoyi, Lagos State, Nigeria.

The Company provides integrated Investment Banking services including but not limited to Financial Advisory & Capital Markets, Trust, Project Finance, Investment Facilitation Services, Asset and Portfolio Management, Public & Private Trusts as well as Estate Planning and Wealth Management through its group members and subsidiaries and is regulated by Securities and Exchange Commission.

Our responsibility for loss or damage suffered by you

If you are a consumer or a business user:

The Company does not exclude or limit in any way its liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for breach of any of its obligations to you or in resect of any financial loss suffered on account of the negligent or fraudulent action or misrepresentation by its employees, agents or subcontractors whilst acting on its behalf.

If you are a business user:

Which country’s laws apply to any disputes?

You and the Company both agree that the courts in Nigeria will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes that may arise because of these Terms and Conditions.

If you are a business, these terms of use, their subject matter and their formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Courts in Nigeria shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes that may arise as a result of these Terms and Conditions.
