Collins Olise is an accomplished finance professional with a distinguished career in investment and treasury management, supported by over 17 years of extensive experience. He has his first degree in Mass Communication from Lagos State Polytechnic and an MBA in Finance from Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo. Additionally, Collins is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Public Diplomacy & Management (CIPDM), reflecting his commitment to professional excellence and continuous development.

 

In his current role as the Head, South-South Regional Office and doubling as the Fund Manager at Emerging Africa Asset Management Limited, Collins Olise excels in delivering comprehensive treasury and portfolio management services that align with the organization’s strategic objectives. His responsibilities encompass strategic asset and liability management (ALM), investment relations, and treasury operations. Collins’s adept management ensures the formulation and execution of sound and sustainable financial strategies, enhancing the company’s fiscal stability and growth trajectory.

 

Before joining Emerging Africa Group, Collins significantly contributed as a Treasury Officer at United Capital Plc, where he played a pivotal role in the pioneer treasury management team. Under his stewardship, the assets under management (AUM) saw a remarkable increase from 100 billion to over 190 billion within just two years. His expertise in ALM management was crucial in this substantial growth.

 

Previously, Collins worked with UBA Asset Management Ltd, where he was responsible for managing investment proposals, conducting fund valuations, and performing equity and fixed income analysis. His role was instrumental in ensuring regulatory compliance for the UBA Mutual Funds, which were later integrated into United Capital Mutual Funds. Collins’s efforts in profitability analysis, fund performance tracking, and regulatory reporting underscored his proficiency in handling complex investment portfolios and navigating regulatory landscapes.

 

Collins Olise’s academic credentials, combined with his hands-on experience, have equipped him with essential skills in corporate relationship management, pricing, negotiation, and corporate image building. These competencies have been instrumental in his ability to effectively influence and navigate the corporate finance environment, driving success and strategic growth in his various roles.
