Dr. Joseph Mekiliuwa is a proven leader and well-rounded and experienced capital market operator. He has led several committees on Capital Market initiatives and has played strategic roles in Nigeria and West African Capital Market developments and African capital market linkage. He was actively involved in the National Payment System vision 2020 and led the Central Bank Committee of Securities settlement workgroup that produced Securities settlement guideline for Nigeria.
Dr. Joseph Mekiliuwa holds a B.Sc Degree in Computer Science from the University of Benin, Benin City, Master’s Degree (M.Sc) in Computer Science from the University of Lagos, Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from University of Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. Master’s Degree in International Law and Diplomacy M(ILD) from University of Lagos, and a Doctorate Degree (Ph.D) in Management from Aldersgate College, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines. He is also an Alumnus of Lagos Business School, and an Alumnus of London Business School, United Kingdom. He is also a Fellow Chartered Stockbroker (FCS), Professional member at Companion level from UK International Professional Institutes, Companion, IMS(UK) - Institute of Mgt Specialist, C.PBTM(UK) - Professional Business & Technical Mgt, C.AEA(UK) - The Academy of Executives & Administrators, Comp.AMS(UK).
